Hi there,

New to this place, so a big HELLO from the UK.

I'm looking for a TRD S/C for a Mk1 MR2 V6 build I'm carrying out.

If anyone has one they want to sell me, please let me know?

Many thanks,

MM.

Just build a 3MZ hybrid.
After that build no need for and S/C unless you really want more power.

Thanks guys.

It's actually to go on a 3VZ engine which is about to have the heads ported/polished and I wanted to try and get an SC in time to have the inlet pipes ported to match.

Thanks for the responses and for the welcome.....

^ Wow, I only know of 1 other 3VZ with a 1MZ Supercharger. I've looking into it, in detail, and there is noly 1 issue I could not figure out. Maybe you'll know.

On the 1MZ, the IAC (I think it is) is on the throttle body, while on the 3VZ it;s on the intake plenum. The resistance values of the 2 sensors are different, so you can't simply use the 1MZ throttle body to replace it. Thats the 1 damn thing I could not figure out! What are you doing to overcome that? :drinking:

Also, I've always wondered if the 1MZ fuel rails can be swapped onto the 3VZ engine and just bolt on. That would get rid of the 7th injector thats on the 3VZ intake plenum.

I know the SC will bolt onto the 3VZ intake manifold, and I'm pretty sure the alignment of the belt would be dead on with the idler assembly and Alternator/AC/Crank pulley's.

I really look foward to seeing you do this. :)

A company in the UK (Woodsport) can make an ISCV adaptor to allow the TRD SC to fit the 3VZ

It's the brone coloured part in the photo below:
