hey, do you guys know if the a-pillar on a 99-00 camry same as 00 solara?
I looked and found this gauge pod but wondering if would fit.

They a-pillars aren't the same, but you can make the pod fit with a little work. It probably won't be perfect, but it will get you by.

do you by chance know which year is the same.. I know they say gen 4 is the same as gen 1 solaras. are the a-pillars the same for the two cars as well?

No, they aren't the same. While the gen 4 camry (97-01) shares the same chassis with the gen 1-1.5 solara (99-03), the interiors aren't identical. The a-pillars on the solara are model-specific.

I used a camry Gen 4 Dual pod when I had one installed in my solara. The A-pillar is really similar or close enough that it fits pretty nice..
