However, I currently live in Denton TX. I, kind of, just wound up here. I'm originally from Chicago.
Maybe I can post a pic of UNT or maybe I can drive down to Dallas where Kennedy got shot.

Can you believe that The Alico building survived the tornado in 1953? It came straight through downtown Waco and ripped up everything in its path. My grandpa use to tell me horror stories about that day. So I consider The Alico building a monument in my hometown. 8)

Sorry about the crappy lighting. :-? I'll post some more later. :)

This is a cool game Jimmm!!! Im gona start taking pics of random buildings and claim them to be monumental!!! LOL!!!

You got the right idea now, Lee. That's a great picture of a great old building. I was born in 1953, so yeah, fellas, I'm an OLD Solara guy. Thanks for posting and keeping the game going.

Huntsville's Historic DEPOT
Hear the rattle of the tracks and the engineer's whistle as you experience life on the rails in 1860. Discover Civil War graffiti & listen as Andy, the robotic ticket agent, tells of Alabama's railway history.

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Depot served as the local passenger house & the corporate offices for the eastern division of the Memphis & Charleston Railroad. An active passenger station until 1968, the original depot building now stands as a symbol of Huntsville's transportation history and city growth.

See Jimmm, the beautiful 2004 Toyota Solara parked out front. (LOL)

Named as one of the state’s “Top 10” destinations by the Alabama Bureau of Tourism and Travel, the Huntsville Museum of Art is gaining a reputation throughout the South for bringing high-caliber touring exhibitions to the region. Nearly 40,000 people visited the Museum during A Taste for Splendor: Russian Imperial and European Treasures from the Hillwood Museum. Another 23,000 visited the blockbuster exhibition Land of the Winged Horsemen: Art in Poland.

Many of the visitors wondered whose beautiful 2004 Toyota Solara SLE V6 was parked out in front of the museum (LOL).

I grew up in Huntsville too, Dan99, and I do enjoy the peace and tranquility that we still have here. I've lived in Boston and New York and I've visted cities around the country, but I still love my home. My great-great-granddad was born here in 1849 and my great-grandma in 1866. I made it to the 20th Century however. I was born in 1953.
