two tone Gen1's???

I'm gona get a new paint job, and want some ideas and wanted to see if anyone on here had one done or have pics of some on the gen 1's

I'm planning on doing black on top blue on bottom

perhaps something like this

some people paint half the hood, roof, and maybe? trunk black. it looks pretty cool. like the center of the hood where the lines are.. what colors? don't go those colors on a lara lol. idk how that 2 tone would look on a solara cause the tiburon atleast has an "indent" where its painted i believe. it may just look like a black blob on a solara.

If you're gonna do two-tone, then you have to do a true two-tone job. that means literally half the car is one colour, and the other half is another.

That Tiburon isnt two-tone....its lime green with a C-fibre hood, and a huge stripe going down each side.

For some reason im partial to red and black for two tone, or even black and white. I'm not a fan of the green and black. But each to his/her own.

i just thought the style was cool on the tiburon, I've been thinking about having the halfway mark right at the body line just below the windows like this

The Red Knight is bad a$$.
I dont like mitsubitchy but the paint scheme is cool w/o the orange.

i've been looking at my lara, wanting to do a two-tone myself....

i was gonna keep the top portion (hood, roof, trunk lid) stock (flame metallic red)

the part i was gonna paint...well, go look at your lara...the line in the body that extends from the corner light to the rear bumper...yeah, that's the part (and below) i was thinking of painting black.

then i'd do a blacked out grill, possibly with mesh (modified OEM), and also blacked out headlights/corners/foglights.

and then if i could put a TRD kit on it (black also), it'd be visually complete to me.

but that's just me.

search for the red knight and for woah_its_jeff's final iteration of his lara. both have a two tone in the style that lee and greekavalon were talking about.

I would say where the "A" pillars start and up, and where the rear quarter windows start on the bottom and go up on the "C" pillars.
