Just pay 20-30 bucks to a garage to install them

You don't even need a lift, a 2-ton garage jack would be fine.

And uhh, is it just me or she's getting TONS of help cuz she's a girl... in addition to grnsolara personally coming over to help

(no offense to you Chrissy, it's just if you were a dude, you would've only got half the responses that you did; but anyways, good luck with the HID install in the fogs. I absolutely love the 3000k HID that I got in mine now)

:D

In my defense, I've never been able to help anybody b/c I live in friggin' western Missouri. Seriously, who the heck in their right mind lives here and drives anything but a 454??!

All joking aside, she's totally getting help b/c it's a female SG member. (Alright so I wasn't done joking yet)

I'm just happy that I'm finally within range of another SG member w/o a road trip! I miss all the meets, and it makes me sad. :(

Ya I just got back from StL b/c we went to visit my wife's family for Easter. It's a good 4 hour drive to just the west side of the city (St. Charles) from where I'm located. That's if you don't run into the bad drivers that plague I-70 and drive 50 mph in the lightest sprinkle of rain.

ok crissy i have worked on cars for 30 years and the newer they get the better they are to work on
i looked at mine and i really dont think you have to remove the lenses
,you will need a 2 ton jack and 2 stands NEVER work on a car with out jack stands

,get some help as it seems like you might open up a can of worms if you havent done this before, just cause your a girl doesnt mean you cant do this

you can access the fog lights from the back you will have to move the plastic panel under the bumper and you will find the wires plug in to the top,if your hids dont just plug in then you will have to do something different

,but you may have to ask some peeps here those who have installed them and see what they did, btw what brand did you get? heck ill buy the same brand and convert my car just to see what it takes it cant be that hard, hang in there :fadein:

Ya I sent you a lengthy reply. Just hold off on the project for now b/c I plan on installing a 2nd set on my other Solara that I ordered from Modexpress. The last thing I want you to do is hurt your car, which you seem to like very much (the car that is). I'm available almost every weekend doing random projects and during most of the weeks.
