I was wondering when you guys change the stock air intake to injen or k&n did you guys get the check engine light to come up? I cleaned the air filter couple days ago and got the check engine on but i think it must it been not closed all way. The thing that i wont to know is that when i put air intake on it do i get the check engine light on or not before i buy the intake.

Dont you have the k&n drop in filter? IF thats what you mean then no, you shouldnt be geting a CEL... Check to see if the cover is seated all around.

They say that if you did it right, you shouldn't be getting a CEL. But i've heard of quite a few cases where the CEL comes on after installing an intake because of the MAF change.

get a cp-e and you'll be good :D

Yeah this is what i want to make sure before i do it.

Save your money and get a tunable CP-e.. The injen is just a noise maker.

unless you do the custom cai extention then you feel it

Did you try disconnecting the battery for about 15 mins then reconnecting?

no i did not disconnect the battery but i got that fixed thanks guys for the tips .. i just had to take it out and put it back on ..
