Rebuilding/ Remanufactiing the engine - consider nitrous?

Right now i am in the process of doing a rebuild/reman and I was wondering if you think it could handle nitrous on my car?
I had nitrous on it before with a dual purge but i wrecked it, i was going to leave it alone until i messed up a rod and was forcced to rebuild it.
What does everyone think? Worth it for one last go?

I havent been on here in a really long time as I have been busy with school but i am considering redoing my car since my engines practically brand new.

forged internals, if you plan on dropping the compression(if you are supercharged), metal head gasket.

But definitely forged, and while you're at it, throw in a high capacity oil pump. upgrade injectors with fuel pump, and Jim's fuel mod.... you should be ok after a tune for a long time.

Other than that, talk to Trd4life.... ;)
Geeks get it done, while Nerds whimper and call for mommie.

Well dang it - i already bought a new oil pump from when piston 1 screwed up and threw metal all in my oil!
My crank was ground 10 thousandths at the mains and 20 at the rods and Im pretty sure all my internals are forged
I have pictures if that would help?

He has the 2AZ-FE if I'm not mistaken, not the 1MZ. I know the rods could be forged but hold up pretty good, the crank is forged, but I don't think the pistons are. If you plan on supercharging or turbo, you should buy forged low compression pistons (8.5:1 or 9:1). If your not, then you should purchase forged high compression pistons (11.0:1) which also accept nitrous.

sydemoid's advice fits except for the Jim's fuel mod (only applies to the 1MZ).

Depends on the piston manufacturer, but typically if its lower than stock compression its capable of more boost than stock engine. Typical values are 8.5:1 or 9.0:1. 9.0:1 recommended for the 1MZ down from stock of 10.8:1.
