haha, I knew someone would take that as hating... but it's true. I promise I won't be one of those guys. But seriously though, at 6 psi I had virtually no grip at the drag strip. The best I ran was a 14.9 I think and granted those were the only four runs I had done in my life, I could not get the car to hook up for the life of me.

It doesn't mean the car isn't fun, it was a blast on the highway and just in general a fun car. I'm just saying I can't imagine what it would have been like with another 100 whp. At the same time, tony the tiger makes traction really well on his gen 3 camry with a fat turbo, so it can for sure be done.

It all depends on what you want the car to do and what you enjoy. For sure not hating though, I miss my solara every day!

i know when i rode with gibson, his tires were squealing through second gear. i think he is on 7 psi too, so yea i could see your point about no traction since i have experienced it haha
