I like that front bumper also. I sent them an email asking about that one and got this reply:

we dont sell that bumper now, its been temporarily discontinued due to fitment problems. The only thing we have for the Solara now is Black Widow & Extreme, which are priced at $225/each. 9/9/03

I would love to find a good urathane bumper in a style like that. Other than the TRD kit, does anybody know of a place making a urathane bumper? Thanks, -JoeB

Umm your wallet... bcoz as far as I know no one makes aftermarket urethane bumpers. Plus Id imagine that urethane bumpers are hella expensive, I mean the TRDs are just lips and thats in the thousand range brand new...

I just love the side skirts, I wonder if the 4dr Solara it's on was a JDM vehicle? I also like the 4 lug wheels. I wonder why anyone would do that conversion?

john, your absolutely right. I expect a really good quality urathane bumper will probably cost about $1000. I'd pay it if I could find a nice one with guaranteed fit and good style. I just don't think one exists. So next best is to find a very good quality fiberglass one. The problem is, you can't tell what is good and what is cheap from the pics on the Internet. And obviously every store is going to say theirs is TOP quality and good fitment.

I was hoping some of you would share your experiences with different bumpers and their quality/fit. It might also be that 2 people bought the same bumper but from 2 different sources and they are different qualities. Any input is appreciated. -JoeB

buying any fiberglass kit is a crap shoot. what happens is a company will make a mold for a kit, and then when it gets old sell it used, and some other dealer will buy it and then they will sell the kit, and so on. thats why there are different levels of quality. Buying any fiberglass kit you should go into it thinking the worse because you never know how much prep work it will take to make it fit right. Urathane, Polyurathane kits are made for popular cars like civics right now. I tried getting a full urathane TRD front end for our 97 Camry from Japan but they were going to charge me $900.00 for it so I decided against it.

DO NOT BUY FROM ALL BODYKIT.COM. The guy's name is Randy, he still has my money, and is trying to charge me a 25% restocking fee, because I canceled my order, He never even got the bumper in! Its been on backorder for about 2 and half month now. He wont reply to my email either. It's been about 1 week now and no respond.
If you want a bumper get it from Ebay. I just got one from Cyberbest buy. Talk to a guy named Sunny. He's really cool. ANd you'll pay alot less.
