Akora's shift boot has still yet to arrive... I was really hoping it would have been here yesterday. I'm planning on posting some photos of some of my other stuff just to give people an idea of what I do.

I don't know why my package is taking so long to travel 200 or so miles. I probably should have got delivery confirmation on that package...

While I am waiting for the shift boot. As ASG asked for, here is a picture of the center armrest. The closeup is an example of the hand stitching.

If some of the stitches look a little off, that's because I was doing this without a pattern and while the fabric was being tightly pulled around the armrest.

Looks good James, I can't wait to get it installed. Did you end up going by hand or machine? Either way, looks nice and factory.

Thanks!

The visible stitches are by hand but they are meant to look like the factory machine stitches. If you look at the machine stitches on the stock one, they randomly cut off on one side (as the machine can't fit into that part of the finished boot) so I opted to do it by hand for uniformity's sake.

I don't need the stock boot as I have all the parts I need (The one shown has no parts from the original boot reused).

I'll do it for $50 each and $40 if I get ten people.

I made two patterns - one for the stock sized manual shifter and one for the short shifter.

A lot of math I haven't used since High School geometry went in to making sure the boot would work for a shifter that it two inches shorter without just trimming the boot down two inches (causing the boot to be too short) - Thanks Pythagoras!
