No. If you're tearing the rear mount, you've got other problems regardless of the torque rod.

If your engine is stock (No turbo or SC), it should not brake. If you are, there is a possibility, but it will take a while. Most people never had an issue, but some have.

I have like 13 of the damn things and need to find out a good way to weld them to make sure they do not brake, then I'll sell those as well, lol.

*Edit, I misread. Krispy is right, if it's the REAR engine mount that is broken, it;s just from age most likely. Not from the Torque Rod.

As long as it;s a V6. It will fit 92-01 Camry V6 (ES300), Gen 1 Avalon's, and Gen 1 Sol.

And if your serious about 3, PM me. We'll work something out. :)

So the pro is that the car gets more torque. What are the cons, besides the supposed bracket break. I'm an aggressive driver and I push my car hard so would I be more likely to see a break in my rear bracket due to the torque rod?

It;s the upper rod mount. Here is a link to the thread I made for it: http://solaraguy.com/viewtopic.php?t=41 ... ght=torque

I deleted the pics a while back.

That is the only con.

I think everyone is over-thinking this mod. The majority of you will never have a problem with this upgrade. Worst case scenario is you damage a cheap metal bracket that can be replaced or reinforced, but I beat the hell out of mine with no problems.

Ok, so no one else is interested? I think this may just be the last batch I every make. Costing me interest on my credit card.

^ BAH! before no one even made a mention of wanting one. :( I don;t have any more. I may be ordering a few more things from the company in a month or 2. If I do, I'll order a few of those bases for you as well since they are freaking expensive if you only but one, then shipping owns on top of that. It;s easy to swap the bases.
