HELP!!! HID fogs

im having a problem getting my hid kit to work with my fogs.I hook up the kit it is a plug and play and i turn it on and nothing when i hook it up to my reg headlights it works fine so i know call components are working.is there less voltage output from the fogs? Do I have to install a relay? has anyone had this problem?

How are you testing your Fogs with the Use of your Headlights , The Gen1 have H4 for headlights and 9006 for Fogs.
What kit do you have ?

I just use the power wire from the extra h4 bulbs i have

I could be mistaken, but according to Sylvania.com the 1999-2001 use 9003/HB2 for low/high beam headlight and 9006 for fog, and 2002-2003 use 9006 low beam, 9005 high beam, and 9006 for fog lights. Make sure you have the right bulbs.

make sure that u plug the wire into the ballast correctly. The wire will fit in both ways ( plus to minus, and plus to plus). I had the same issue with one side when i installed my headlights

I have tried that and still have a problem and the bulbs fit perfectley any other ideas

Check fog fuse/relay? Better grounding possibly.

when i put the reg bulb in everything works so i dont think that is the problem
