Just traded my Solara for a 2009 Rav4. I wanted to stick with Toyota, but found the Camry too Buick like. Drove the Rav4 and it is a fun little SUV. I got the 4, but also tested the V6 and they are right to call it a little rocket.
Anyway enjoyed my time here and sorry to go. Too bad no more Solara, it was a good car.

Yeah, stick around. All my mod money goes to my Vette, but everyone still lets me get in the way every once in a while.

I am I believe the second oldest memeber of the group and as you age things change. The arthritis in my neck made it hard to see out the back and to my right. It is much harder to see towards the rear of a convert. Solara than the hardtop. Just did not feel safe anymore.
As a side, Baierl Toyota in Mars PA has my 2007 Cosmic Blue Solara SLE with just 11,600 miles on it. Great car in excellent shape, if you can turn your head.

Thanks for all the kind words. Just wanted to clear something up, by second oldest I mean in age (62) not membership.
Had my RAV4 about a month now and it has the same workmanship that the Solara had. Just can't go wrong with a Toyota.
