Hop on these if you don't have one even if you're not s/c. Your regular engine mount is rubber, and it sucks. I showed both of my mechanics this thing, and they loved it. It prevents the engine from moving around as jerky when you gun it. Hard torques = bad. I bought one for my s/c Solara, now I'm nabbing one for my n/a, just b/c I like the principle, and I'm a poly bushing psycho now.

Also feel free to contact Asg14 with any questions. He's a really understanding guy and can explain much better than me.
I read forums more than I talk. /shame

^^Agreed, I can feel a increase in torque. My old mount was completed dead.

Been making them. Need to get a few more washers/bolts and the bushings are on the way.

Hey adam, what's up with the lower joints on the far left?

Also, have you ever considered making adjustable endlinks in a similar manner?

Those are special ones I make for friends or upon request. They are stronger since they don;t have a bearing. I wanted to make them only, and none of the bearings, but people got turned off by them when I showed pics, and think they suck. I have to make what the people want........

As for the sway bar links, it would not be worth the effort for me. I have a $5k credit card bill, and it would just add mroe money to it when there is no guarentee anyone would buy them. So many people say they will, then always back out. I could come up with parts to make, but people in the Solara/Camry community back out and leave me screwed in the corner. :x

BTW, the new wheels look good in the sig!

Thanks. I think the no bearing option is much better. The engine nor tranny doesn't twist enough to warrant a moving lower mount.

As for the endlinks, I had a feeling they never came about due to a lack of interest. It's shame considering the OEM endlinks are designed terribly and are probably much more expensive than you could make an adjustable version for. Being able to adjust the preload on the swaybars is very nice.

Honestly, they should be pretty easy to make. Hell, made the dogbone rod for Eye8Pussies pretty easily, lol. And I can get the parts with no issue.

There was actually a guy on TN that was plannign to make them, and knew what he was doing, but I don;t think anything came of it due to lack of "serious" interest.

And it probably would cost less to make, lol.

I'm interested but does the added stress on the rear mount break that one?

I thought I saw a pic here a while ago of a broken rear bracket?

thanks,
