So here's the story: I pass this dealership every weekend that has what I thought was a used Gen 2 Convertible Sport (very rare in my neck of the woods). Whenever my girlfriend is in the car with me I make sure I detour past the dealership to kinda nudge her into taking a closer look at it. At first she had this crazy notion that her 40k mile 2000 Dodge Neon is gonna last her another 2 years (after she has already put $1500 in repair in it last year alone

). Although she can afford the payment she wants to go a little longer without having a car payment since the Neon is paid off. I do have a hidden agenda, that agenda is that I see myself and my dawgs rollin' in dat byotch in the summer time hollerin' at all the hos on the sidewalk we pass. So anyway I had to kick it up a notch, I started leaving Solara brochures in the bathroom, in the bedroom, in the living room, in the panic room and it finally paid off. I now sucked her in like a Congressman dangling a bag of ecstacy to a House pageboy in a Senate bathroom. So we go to the dealership AFTER they closed and took a looksie. First thing I realized is that it was an SLE and not the SE Sport, it appears somebody just added the ground effects. Meanwhile my girlfriend saw the heated seats and auto climate controls and was calculating her monthly payments in her head. So I had her about 65% in getting this car by Spring. I called the dealer 2-3 weeks ago and inquired about the "SLE Sport" convertible and he basically was rather vague about the car and said he wanted to speak to me personally. This guy talked so smooth and calm I thought I felt like I was the pageboy and he was a Congressman and we were having phone-sex

. But I rejected his "come-hithers" and he changed tactics and told me to check the car out on the website first. He gave me the web address but the URL was broken, he told me to check in a few days because they're probably uploading new photos. Well, I pretty much forgot about this whole ordeal until today so I retype the URL and checked out the car. They wanted under $17k for the 2006 SLE convertible with 58k miles. I was like "
F*** I might f***in' buy it", but then I scrolled down to the lower two-thirds of the page and saw that dreaded disclaimer in big, bold red font. [Click the link below.] That explains how the opportunity arose to put the SE Sport ground effects on the car......also explains the low price.
