HELP - Windshield wiper fluid not spraying

Postby funboy102 » Fri Mar 13, 2009 2:07 pm

As the topic said, my windshield wiper fluid isn't spraying.
- I already filled the reservoir to the top, so that's not a concern.
- The holes aren't blocked.
- The motor still works, I HEAR a hummmm, as I'm trying to spray it.

What DOES happen is that after I open the hood to check out what's going on, I see that a lot of the windshield wiper fluid is under my car. I'm thinking maybe somehow the tubes got mis-routed or something. Does anyone else have any other ideas? In addition, how do you remove the nozzles from the hood? Any idea? And also, how do you remove the liner that's under the hood? If anyone can help me out, I'd be thankful.

From somewhere between the hood and the hood liner... Seems like I have to remove the liner.

that would be very cool lilm. Thanks a lot.

As of right now, my wipers are just wiping back and forth with no water, which I heard is no bueno for the wiper's longevity. Oh well, I think it might be safe to say Winter is over here in SoCal.

oh don't use them until you get the fluid thing first using them without them being able to shoot out fluid probably leads to premature failure
