Car is still in progress. I want to do so much to it but funds are holding me back. I wanna make a rear diffuser and get some sides... But no funds= no go on projects. Im a Industrial Designer and still waiting to get my diploma and witht he economy so poor, jobs are hard to get.

Also i was planning on painting my wheels to steel grey but there is a funny story to why i dont. When ever i get tickets, without my badges in the back, they look at my wheels and write it as a lexus coupe. And they only write my plates and no vin. LExus coupe when its a toyota gets thrown out of the database. so yea.

Yea i painted the lip white with some duplicolor rattle can. I say gloss black that shi3t it will look nice.

Dont forget about them brick edging..... you gonna need it. haha.

This is what i did.

I got these brick edging from home depot and made myself a lip.

Brick edging=

You can get this at home depot. ITs in the garden area.

Screw that to your car so it looks like this.



MAke sure its Tight and sturdy put a drill them holes to ur bumper!!!!

Then you Buy the lip and couple screws...

i used 4 thats screws to secure the lip onto the brick edging.
I have also have 2 just so the sides dont flap (so one on each end of the lip.

you see the bottom of the bumper. That lip is screwed on to the bottom of the bumper. I used normal metal screws.


This was back then with s-techs

If you look closely you see the screws. I have a total of 4 screws from the outer lip to the inner lip.

FYI- the lip is going to be low. If i were you i would tighten the brick edging with washers tightly. But the lip just screw it so it stays in place. U dont want it too stiff and sturdy cause it will crack and fall off because of the height. like Ahem someone before. hah.

it took me about a hour and a half, trust me man, you dont want this falling off.

Not too shabby man. This is the way i did it and it seemed to work. no need to revet cause u may need to take it off rolling in ur girlfriends driveway sometimes < hah personal experience. I can take off my lip less than 5 minutes.
