I am selling a set of ground control coilover sleeves that will fit gen4 camry and gen1 solara. I think they will also work on gen3 camry but i can't be certain. These only work with OEM or Tokico struts according to ground control. At the tallest setting, it still lowers the front about 2" and lowers the back about 1". You can of course go lower since they're coilovers. The coilovers use Eibach linear rate springs - 500lb in front and 300lb in back. Handles awesome and looks great.
I am selling because we're about to have a baby and the ride is too harsh for an infant.
stock height (actually 01 solara se v6 stock springs/struts):
Ground Controls installed (at TALLEST setting!) on Tokico HPs:
pic above is from when I took them off this past weekend. I will of course clean them up before shipping them to you. Not that it matters much since you can't see them when the car is on the ground, but the springs are powdercoated red, upper perches are bare aluminum, lower perches are anodized a kind of yellow gold/brass color, and threaded sleeves are anodized red. it is a complete set of 4, i just didn't take a pic of all 4.
Struts, upper mounts and bump stops shown in the picture are not included - you will need to use your existing ones. no permanent modification to your car or struts required - these are straight bolt-on, though it's a good idea to cut your bump stops a little. you also don't need to deal with a spring compressor (except to take off your existing springs) since these springs are so much shorter than stock or even regular lowering springs. you can plainly see this in the pic.
Original selling price $375. Asking $250us plus shipping from Sugar Land, TX. Local pickup OK.
Will consider partial trades, since I would like to keep at least SOME handling and the lowered look. If you have a complete set of H&R or Eibach springs for gen4/solara, let me know - I may consider taking your springs and some cash for the ground controls.
