Help:: No Turn Signals

Help:: No Turn Signals

Postby illstylez » Fri Feb 27, 2009 2:11 pm

Hey Im back again! :) Did a search but couldnt find any results colse enough to what I have going on.

My turn signals just stopped working this week, I have no idea what happened. I checked all the fuses inside and in the engine compartment..all appeared to be in working condition :(

Has anyone else had this problem or can give me some idea on what the source may be? Thanks in advance.

I dont know much about it but just an idea. There is a little flasher thing that looks kind of like a relay that controls that speed of the flash of the signals. I would image that if that goes bad your turn signals wouldnt work. Just an idea, I dont know much about though so dont hate. :D

I agree here. Probably have a bad flasher. I never thought those could ever go bad but you never know.

Where do I find this relay? And how do I know if that is the source once located?

i know your problem, check and take apart your dash, i mean where the radio and a/c control unit is and make sure your hazards button is connected, if the hazards are disconnected the turning singals don't work

i need more details about your problem, in your dash board do you see the green arrows come on when you engage the turning singal, do you hear clicking as well when you engage your turning singal?

OK so I just pulled the out the center console trim for access to the hazard connection. Everything was connected there. No loose wires and it was seated firmly in the connector.

i need more details about your problem, in your dash board do you see the green arrows come on when you engage the turning signal, do you hear clicking as well when you engage your turning signal?

I do not hear the clicking and there is no lighting for the blinker on the inside dash or outside on the front or rear blinkers :( Really stumped by this one. Any other suggestions. I was hearing that the fluid or something goes bad around here somewhere, and someone suggested checking the relay, but I don't know where to locate this relay :( Really concerned cuz I live in the Chi don't want people running me over cuz they don't know which way I'm going.
