Only way to check if the ABS Sensors are now bad is bringing it into a Toyota Dealership b/c they have the computer to check it with.

The place you had your suspension installed might have the reset tool for the ABS light but it'll just comeback on when you start the car. Try and have them reimburse you for the damaged parts (get it in writing, then they can't deny they said they pay for it later on), those sensors are not cheap. I wouldn't have more work done at a place I don't trust, especially being the second time now having a bad experience with there work.

^ There is no reset tool. You use a paper clip, jump 2 teminals on the Diagnostic boc, and read the flashes to get he code #. It will go off once the sensor is replaced, or unhooking the battery.

You can see both of the abs lines if you get under each wheel. Removing the brakes won't cause an abs CEL to apear, so it's probably a damaged sensor or wire to the sensor.

Dunno, much about reset tools, so I guess the place I had mine done had something like what "ASG14" is talking about that looked to be more sophisticated then just two paper clips. Either way, I do know if the ABS wires were stretched and the sensors went bad from not being disconnected before installation....been a few years since I had that problem, sorry. :-?

PRE–CHECK
1. DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM
(a) Check the indicator.
When the ignition switch is turned ON, check that the ABS
warning light goes on for 3 seconds.
HINT:
If the indicator check result is not normal, proceed to
troubleshooting for the ABS warning light circuit
(See page DI–529).
(b) Check the DTC.
(1) Disconnect the short pin from DLC1.
(2) Using SST, connect terminals Tc and E1 of DLC2 or
DLC1.
SST 09843 – 18020
(3) Turn the ignition switch ON.
(4) Read the DTC from the ABS warning light on the
combination meter.
HINT:
If no code appears, inspect the diagnostic circuit or ABS
warning light circuit (See page DI–532 or DI–529).
As an example, the blinking patterns for normal code and
codes 11 and 21 are shown on the left.
(5) Codes are explained in the code table on page
DI–497.
(6) After completing the check, disconnect terminals Tc
and E1, and turn off the display.
If 2 or more malfunctions are indicated at the same time the lowest
numbered DTC will be displayed 1st.
