Ken,

Sorry, don't have any for sale, but FYI, the cheapest I found for my Tein SS CO's was ebay....~$1100 or so if I remember right. You might also want to try toyotanation.com, sometimes they pop up on there.

And again, FYI, depending on how stiff you want the CO's, the Tein SS's are REALLY soft, even on the stiffest setting. I have mine on the stiffest setting and just with groceries in the trunk (nothing else) it will sag a little bit. Just wanted to let you know in case you wanted something stiffer.

Thanks for the info
I've done some research here and there...and I have coilovers for my other cars just not the solara...

I am looking mostly for K-sport/D2 and Teins..
I like the K-sport/D2 since they have allot of adjustability I will need.. but the teins would work.. I just want to be able to get LOW..

Need to lower about 2.75 or 3" to get the front and rear tires to tuck..
I am on Tein and Tokico right now and it has too big of a gap for me.

my xb on coilovers tuck both front and rear

^^^ its hard to tuck the front. a small dip and ur tires will cut into a metal piece under the fender. just a FYI

here is am image of my jics.

Image

the top part where u see the wires leading under the fender guards, well thats the abs sensor wire.. gotta adjust it to go where the strut is. adn the other part on top is the metal i was talkin about. After the guards are rubbed thru, its all metal.

my bad for off topic-ing.

again...depending on how much "tuck" you want...the Tein's still offer plenty of drop, but the softness is an issue (concerning rubbing) when it gets that low with the Tein's

Thanks..
I dont have ABS on my solara so that should ok.. I will be sure to check under there...

Here are some pics of how my xB sits.... I want my solara to sit just the same...
the offsets and tire size i am using on the solara should be good since I am not using big wheels..
17x8.5" all around with a +40 offset in front and +15 offset in the rear 215/45 tires has a little stretch.. My xb has more tire stretch then my solara does

xb's set up
tein coilovers.. (dropped all the way and removed the rear perches to get lower

17x7" gram lights +33 offset front and +13 offset in the rear
205/40 tires

front and rear fenders rolled and rear is pulled out 1/2" from the roll

also... both my front and rear fenders on the solara has been rolled.. so rubbing is not a issue... I actually pulled the rear of my fenders just a little.. about 1/4" more then stock

Here is how the wheel sit from the front and rear

If you look I have about a 2 to 3 finger wheel gap on the tein and tokicos.

I want the fender and the tire to sit flush with no gap or tuck about 1/4" into the fender.

I have ground control coilover sleeves on my 98 camry and i'm looking for a set of eibachs or H&Rs but i might consider trading you the tein springs (the non-coilover ones) and some cash. They wont' give you the camber or damping adjustability that you'd get with K-sport or D2s, but they will give you the height adjustment you want. 500 lb springs in front and 300 ni back - handles great, but it's too harsh for my wife and soon to be baby, plus i hate trying to go .0001mph over speed bumps. Obviously you're ok with that so these should be right up your alley.

PM me if you're interested.

and yeah i know i'm "new" on SG but i've been in the camry community from back in the camryman days, and been getting back into it again on toyotanation.

just 250 + ship. since they're sleeves, shipping won't be so bad - they're small. would probably fit in a shoebox, but i'd use a stronger box than that to actually ship with. I'm picking up some stock springs this weekend in case someone does want to buy my GCs so I can still drive the car... even tho it will look like a 4x4 w/ stock springs......

just in case anyone is interested, I also have some ground controls that's in my garage I'm looking into selling. PM me if you want one. Price is competitive =P

p.s. I live in San Diego, so, it's 2 hrs driving from Covina, to save some shipping.
