Not to thread jack, but I took a chance at the rear mount, and made mine custom... doing trial and error at the moment;)

Might offer it as a mod later, in a month after I check the original mount, and how it has put up with my abuse

Yes SuperPro makes them, but only Greg's Solara [Silverlious] has it, and Energy Suspension made them but only 3.

definitely a lot stiffer but the car vibrates a lot more now when in D and R.
But its worth the sacrifice i guess.

We need at least 15 or 20 people i think.
I think that they still have the molds for it.

The SuperPro only makes the right rear mount.

pt, I think the correct URD you'd want to get a hold of is Underdog Racing Development, not Unorthodox. If you do get a hold of them, keep us informed.

Unorthodox racing is a separate company I am aware of that. How anyways this is the response I got

"We don’t currently offer anything. We would need 40 pre-orders to make a pulley for this engine.

Thanks for your question,

Shawn "

Superpro makes only the right rear mount? What do you mean by that. Currently the only superpro engine mount bushing available is the dogbone kit. This what you inferring to? I thought that they could make a lower rear mount (I think where the tranny attaches) if enough interest? Course I know it would vary between manuals and automatics too.

The make the right rear engine mount.
Look under your car in the back of the engine on the passenger side.
SuperPro makes the dogbone bushin' kit, front control arm bushin' kit, and rear control arm bushin' kit for the Solara.

Postby jetbtkng » Tue Jan 20, 2009 9:52 pm

put me down for a pulley, needing more info on the bushings though, have a aluminum fly wheel on my 455 olds and made a big difference from idle to full throttle, so i imagine the pulley would help throttle responce, jmo, :drinking:
