Tinted tails and fogs

WELL, out of pure boredem and my week off from school, i have decided to go on the venture of tinting my tails and fogs.... i picked up the paint and im trying it on my spare (broken) tail light to see how it turns out.... if i like it then ill make a tutorial when i do my real tails and fogs... wish me luck!

i dont know about the spray cuz if you wanna change it later its permanent i went with the vinyl because if i decide to change the looks i can just take the vinyl off

ehh i don't think ill want to change it... eather way, i can buy a new set of tails for less than a hundred anyway <.<

What spray did you get the night shade stuff or just regular spray paint? Post up pics when your done!

like 30 bucks to cover the tails was thinking about doing this also although don't know if it will look cheap or not. You can always take it off!

yeah i used the night shades spray tint... sorry i haven't taken pics yet.... its been snowing and crap lately so the cars a mess with salt lol... ill take some tomorrow and post them up for you... sorry!

140 dollars inst that a bit much. You could have wrapped them yourself right? I have stock tails that I was planning on wrapping but mayb we should trade. How dark are they tinted?

well if you have the g2.5 led's its easier but if you got the gen 2's g.l. i paid 140 ish to its worth it

this is 140 to wrap right! What makes it so hard to wrap the gen 2 lights, been looking into doing this for a while. Any pointers would help.

I ts a big PAin in the RSE to get the film to stick to the lens , so the cost is Not for the film but for the hours and expertize of using a heat gun and getting it to un bubble properly with out looking.cheap...i quit and used the VHT nite shades, which is more time consuming but also looks good and like any sprypaint, can be wiped off with paint thinner, to go back to stock(IF you didnd sandthe the tail light prior to spraying) just my two cents. i stopped at my 25th tailight set. i have one set in the closet half finished.
