the diagnosis port that techs at a dealership/repair shop use to read an "error code". if you're CEL (check engine light) is on, this helps the tech pinpoint what the problem is instead of checking every damn thing.

and if you've ever had a computer in your car (carputer), you could also connect the computer to the ODB-II to see some like this:
