Gen 1 grill

Gen 1 grill

I know many of you don't really care for the gen 1 grill. I like it.
It is the cars identity and I also think it looks good.

The Renova just doesn't quite do it for me.

Many of you have had problems with the chrome peeling off.

Look what I just found on Ebay.

There's something kinda different. Never seen one like that before. :new-alien: Says there's 3 available. Not it to be the guinea pig. 8) Renova quite didn't do it for me either.

Chrome- ugly
REnova- ok but missing something.

I'm still partial to my TWS grill, but that's because I'm stuck with it, and (just about) nobody else has one. I just have to get around to repainting it and painting the backing mesh black.

In some cases, I agree. Chrome CAN be an eye sore.

But on my Indigo Ink Pearl Solara, I think a chrome grill is a necessity. The grill and wheels set off the blue.
I also think that black wheels would not look good on my car either.

On a red or white Solara, black wheels and grill would look good, but I really think the chrome compliments the blue.

i dont mind chrome depending on how it looks. the chrome grill would look better if it didnt have that flat spot where the emblem goes
