My Welcome Into Colorado
I moved out of So Cal to Aurora, CO during these last few days. Along the way, I got stuck in Vail, so 2 of my oem wheels ended up replacing my two front Volks up in the snowy
Colorado mountains. After getting stuck again some 200 feet later, I got towed a mile up the mountain for $150. I was finally back on the road and thought I was good to go when my front driver side oem wheel came off while driving (My hands must have been numb and I probably didn't tighten the lugs like I usually would). Gave me this dent on my front, driver side, fender.
Anyways, I already paid to have some wheel studs/threads replaced and other repairs as a result of the wheel coming off doing 40mph. I'm gonna look into body work, but for now, I heard that there's a type of clear spray that can be sprayed on to keep the paint from peeling. Is it just clear coat, or is there something else you guys recommend?
