Depends on what you're looking for in a lowering spring. Short answers: TRD/Eibach for slight lowering but closer to OEM ride, Tein S-Tech for more even/lower drop.

From both Eibach and Tein site....both listed about 1.6" drop front but Eibach is 1.6" rear versus Tein 1.4" drop. Seems like Eibach drop a little lower.

However, the spring rating does make the different...if ppl seeing TEIN springs dropped lower then Eibach...then Tein springs must be softer then the Eibach UNLESS they are coilovers.

How about Tokico's? I have Tokico's on my SE and you could barely tell its dropped. It hugs the tires better rather than that huge gap in between the tires and wells but still isn't an amazing drop. Anyone experienced this?

If you are still using the stock springs, then i think that's the reason why you're not getting a lower drop. The shocks itself doesn't drop the car much.

^Just having Tokico HP (blue) struts alone won't lower the car at all, unless it was part of the strut/spring package that Tokico offers (which I'm not sure still exists for Gen 1s).

Eibach was a great. I had a combo Tokico and Eibach which was pretty good. But would like to try the TRD for some fun. I'm selling my Eibach springs for anyone that's interested.

i saw them on maybe 2 websites. I thought about giving it a try...shock/spring combo for $600, but i don't want to end up not liking the stance or feel and have to spend another 200+ to go with eibachs or teins. So i'll just go with either one from the beginning, probably eibach
