Injectors

Alright...I've contacted a few people on here to see where they got their injectors from and I have Gabe contacting his peeps to see what he can do to get me a set.

But just in case it falls through, this is what I gathered from doing a lot of digging:

The 2jz-ge are a direct fit; found here:
http://www.fiveomotorsport.com/Injector_SetsTOY.asp#supra
However, I see two different one's...93-95 Supra, 325cc, at $249.50 or the 93-95, 325cc, at $259.50. Only difference is the part number, 23250-46030/46031 and 23250-46050 respectively. Which is the right one?

Also, during the install, I'm re-using the grommets from the old injectors, but ideally want to get new o-rings. Question is, where to get the new o-rings to fit the correct injector?

Jim@foreignaffairs had these in his Solara: Part # 23209-46050
He has/had one the best tuned Solaras on this forum. He said these were a direct plug-in to the 1mz-fe.

I have the 325cc 23250-46050 injectors and they fit perfectly. You can buy the o-rings for the solara since they fit the same.

^^cool...did you get them from that site or from a third party?

And did you have to worry about new o-rings?

I got them from ptballer and had them cleaned and flow-tested by witchhunter. They inlcuded new o-rings with the overhaul, but I used the ones from my solara b/c they fit slightly better.

G/L!!!

(I ALWAYS recommend fresh grommets when you do injectors... cheap overall, and give a fresh, proper seal.)

PS: Never done them on a 'lara myself, but SEVERAL times on Supra's!

URD injectors would be the same as the RC's I believe. But the do require an adapter plug or wired into the harness.
The RC 325cc injectors would probably work best for most. I have the 370cc injectors, but the af seems all over the place at times. It's on my to do list. The difference is that the RC's actually do flow 325cc whereas the 23250-46050 injectors usually won't, but is an approximation. Maybe brand new the might, but when I got mine back from Witchunter they only flowed about 308-310 being the best. You could compensate for that with increased fuel pressure.
Tony the Tiger wrote:First Dyno Run:
The turbo Camry was strapped on the dyno and a couple of passes were made. For the first run, the fuel curve was horrible and the Camry pulled 241 WHP and 240 lb-ft. The air/fuel ratio was very lean and was hitting up to 14.2:1 A/F after 5000RPM (Graph not shown)

2nd Dyno Run -- DYNORUN .002
After tuning the SAFC, the air/fuel was much better across the powerband. However, the air/fuel was still lean at 13.2:1 A/F. The stock injectors were at 100% duty cycle (stock injectors are 280cc/min) The SAFC tuning managed to pick up an extra 19 WHP.

3rd Dyno Run -- DYNORUN.001
The fuel pressure was raised from 45psi to 65 psi. This time, the A/F was much nicer being at 12.8:1 A/F most of the time. The final numbers were 268 WHP and 269 lb-ft @ 10psi of boost on stock CT-26.

For most the stock one's seem to be capable.
Got Boost?? :sweet:

JavaJoe is right, my 2JZ-GE injectors all flow around 308cc at 43.5psi after being flow tested and cleaned at witchhunter. Even so, this was more than enough to run 6psi.
