....

........Seriously...this entire thread has been about opinions and such and as it should be. Except, there's always that exception and seems we've got that figured out.

Keep the comments thread related!

Welcome and hope you enjoy your nice ride with your new shoes... I am glad you got the black on black ragtop.

Somedude, grow a pair and post as yourself. If you haven't figured it out by now, we can see what IP you're posting from. One more bogus troll registration and you're history for the long haul. And just so you can't say I didn't make it clear...

So noone can rag on me if I have to ban you. Just don't do that anymore and we're all cool.

Um... pwnage? To keep on topic, beatdownlow, have you seen the Trendz/Lundz billet grills? Unless I read incorrectly, they should be what you're looking for.

if i remember correctly people had issues finding the trends/lunds upper and lower grill inserts now. i wish i have never sold mine, they do set the car off very nice esp wen i had chrome rims it matched perfectly. gives the front end a new look

BWAAHAHAA!! Love the new name change! Guess I was right on, eh?

So - back to the OP - I think some other chrome accents would set off wheels some as well, like door handle covers and upper/lower grilles.

Also, if you got Coilovers that are adjustable, you won't sacrifice your ride quality and drop it just enough to close the gap a little.

Trenz doesn't make billet grilled for the 2.5 . The only mfg is SES and they look like crap and just go over the existing grill leaving the "cowboy hat". I have contact Lund/Trenz and they will not be making any.

If anyone has a legit source for solid billet grilles for the 2.5 please let me know.

well im sure the gen2 lunds grill may fit. the gen2.5 fits the gen2 without much modification. dont know how the gen2.5 grill area really looks like..worth a try, if not you can return it. (thats if you find a dealer that has the grill for sale..)

Nice ride bro. The rims arent my personal taste, but I was thinking about going chrome on my 01 covertible too....just in a different style. choosing rims is so hard lol.

I dunno if you'd be interested to know, but I was also concerned with losing ride quailty to by lowering, but I have mine dropped on the TRD springs, and I can tell you from personal experience that the difference in ride quality is marginal. I dont plan to auto-X my solara or anything like that...its just a cruising car for me.

trd springs eh? well its worth looking at. did you change your shocks/struts as well or just the spring? i've never used just a lowering spring before. always went with an ajustable suspension in the past. (Ground Control adj. coilovers w/ Eibach springs + KYB AGX adj. gas shocks.) on my last ride i tried first just using an adj. coilover and it destroyed my shocks in a matter of weeks. previous car before that it came lowered already w/ just lowering springs but it was a horrible ride. so........im not sure what to do but i suppose i could always just try it and see what it feels like.
