Hi Guys
Someone broke the driver side mirror on my sister's car at the mall, and I ordered a replacement from ebay. The problem I have is that the piece of metal that the mirror bolts to is bent out of shape. Any ideas on what I can do? Is it possible to buy this piece from somewhere and if so, what is this piece called. Thanks.

You might have to just be careful, and bang that piece of metal back into its original shape...as much as possible. Just make sure you do it with the window down so that you dont break it.

PS, I dunno why the hell Toyota didnt make these cars with FOLDING mirrors....my friggin 1990 Cressida has them. What could've possibly stopped them from continuing with that for these camrys?

^ It all costs $, and they want to save as much as they can.

And yeah, I think thats part of the door and your best bet is to bang it back like he said above.

Thanks for all the help guys. I found the piece at a junkyard today. Hopefully, it will go in without too much trouble. Now all i need to do is to have the new mirror casing painted to match the rest of the car. Thanks again.
