2002-06 Camry parts interchangable?

Can you use parts made for 2002 camrys on our solaras? Specifically coilovers..

Depends...what part? Engine part? Most likely not. Gen 5 Cams have a 2AZ and most of them have 3MZ's or the VVTI 1MZ. Interior parts? Once again depends on the part. For example: I fit visors from 2007 camry in my gen 1

Well, I mean generally, not engine parts... because I dont think they'll fit.

I was trying to see if aftermarket suspension parts made for the camry, like Coilovers, struts, and stuff will fit on the solara too.

The reason why I'm asking, is my friend told me that he had a TRD exhaust for his 03 camry and it could fit my car but I didn't believe him. I checked the part number and they were the same for the solara and the camry, so What i'm trying to say is....

If the solara and camry do have similar parts ( i read that the struts are the same on the camry and solara ) do we have more coilover options now, because i know many more companies make coilovers for the camry than the solara.

yes you can use pretty much use a gen 1.5 stuff. coilovers you are going to have to modified them a bit, but it works. and jp headers, etc.. only difference is the exhaust.

what kind of modifications will be needed on the coilovers?
Is it like hardcore modifications or just minor adjustments needed?
