Can't find front license plate bracket for 99 Solara

I have a 99 Solara and I recently moved to MA which requires a front license plate. I swear I remember my car coming with a front license plate bracket that was shaped to perfectly fit the front of the bumper, but I must have thrown it away or something. I've looked online and have been unable to find one. I've called my Toyota dealer and they say there is no front plate bracket for my car. Is there anyone here with a Gen 1-1.5 Solara with a front license plate bracket? Thanks.

Gen 1s had no bracket AFAIK. There were just holes drilled into the bumper to mount the plate with.

My Gen 1.5 has a bracket - had a hard time finding a pic that actually shows the car with it on because I do so much highway driving that I'm always taking the bra on and off and it won't accomodate the bracket - but I found this one from the first day I brought her home.

Then a good detail shot in front of my Dad's RX-8 - Go Gators! (It's a Florida Gators plate, though you can't really tell at the reduced size of the pic)

It's definitely custom fit/OEM, but I dunno about fitment on Gen 1s because your bumper appears to be slightly different. Best of luck!

A universal frame would make it look nicer. No bracket is needed. Pop your license onto the frame and just mount it on the bumper

Hey welcome to Mass lol, watch out for every other driver out there.

Anyway mine didn't come with a bracket but I'm sure you could get a generic one that fits just as well. I run without a bracket and to be honest it doesn't really bother me.

Yeah, no bracket for the gen 1. Just check out my sig. You could probably get an L bracket and pop it into the lower grill and mount like that if you don't want holes in your bumper.
