polyutherane dogbone?!?!?!?!

I need a new dog bone again I just replaced it like less than a year ago but I need something like jims torque rod. Does anyone know where I could get
one or If there is a place that fills the oem dogbone with polyurethane?

Jim's torque rod is a replacement for the front transmission mount/torque strut, not the stock dogbone mount. SuperPro sells polyurethane bushings that replace the rubber bushings, try http://www.toyheadauto.com/PerformancePages/Polyurethane_Bushings.html#CAMRY_SOLARA_and_VIENTA for some.

thanks but i thought the torque rod was the regular dog bone with polyutherane bushings i have seen it before?

No. You are confusing two different parts.

Jims torque rod replaces a shock absorber in front of the engine.

The dogbone mounts on the top of the engine near the passenger side.

yeah i know i just thought that "jim" made one of those cuz i have seen a dog bone with polyutherane bushings it was like multicolored idk. i must be mixed up srry

Like I stated above, there are polyurethane bushings from Superpro (purple colored) available for you to press into the dogbone in place of the torn rubber ones. The link above takes you to a site that sells said bushings.

Do you know which one? The 50mm I.D. or the 65mm I.D.?

^Quick, he has both listed. I'd email the onwer/operator (Rick) to ensure he has the 50mm, since most everyone stocks the 65mm.

It was the mount that comes off the tranny.

Jake, just as sleeper above said, it was the upper mount. And the one on my friends car was aBOUT to snap, so re replaced it. I'm goign to see how may I can round up, and then I think Eye8Pussies may have a guy strengthen them.
