Is This a Good Setup?

Alright, i have done alot of searchin about and this is what i have come up with. I wanna replace the rear deck 6x9's, and the door 6x9's. The front "tweeters" will be replaced with bigger 4" ones, the amp is gunna go, as will the cd player/receiver. I have the JBL system on my 04, but i dont have the the rear seat trimp panel 6-1/2 inch speakers so i want put those in along with some rear tweeters.

My only question is, will all this work together???

I would suggest you skip on the Mono type of amp and get a multi-channel amp.

are you making a three way with the four coax and the 6.5 components?

and a 6x9 in the deck?

and you have a mono amp but no sub?

my suggestion...

get a four channel amp or a five if you plan to run a sub. ditch the 4s in the dash and just do the comp in the front end and 6x9 in the rear.

also might consider some dampening for the front and the deck.

okay, sounds good. Thanks for all the help.

I'll have to look into what dampening actually is. Sound systems, as you can see, are not my forte. haha

But how about the cd player, is that a good one?
And also, how many watt amp am i gunna need?

You should consult someone face-to-face who can help you understand car audio a little better and make a good choice on a quality configuration for your budget.

That Lanzar ONE-THOUSAND-NINE-HUNDRED-FIFTY WATT amp for $101.xx is a joke. If it sounds too good to be true, it is.

You don't generate high-current musical signal conversion that is worthwhile without putting out a few clams. Quality amplification should be seriously considered.

I don't know much about that Clarion... but a base model iPod capable Alpine is a very good start.

I compared the lower/mid-level Alpines and several other brands and came away with the Memphis 6x9's. They aren't too pricey, but have GREAT sound when driven with good, clean power.

I decided, for the time being, that a 300 watt pyramid might be a better choice. I m not sure if thats enough wattage though

head units and amps you may consider going alpine v-power..
there amps are generally underrated. mine was speced at 150x4 but turned out to be 180x4 on the birth sheet

Peak power is measured during a brief musical burst, Some manufacturers display peak power ratings on the face of their products to increase the appeal. You should be careful when buying low profile amps since they really try tricking you for your bucks.
