So i was goin thru one of my old magazines and i read decent article on a 90 GSX build up. They used this to control fuel....it had a 255lph pump and 550cc injectors, made some decent power (216whp with a T04B). I'm thinkin about giving it a shot with my project...maybe give us another option for tuning. IIRC, they mentioned some part of it being a lil difficult to use since it only has those 2 buttons or something like that. Thoughts?

For non-adjustable cam vehicles, the CamFC can be used to its AFC and tachometer features while the cam trigger output can be used as an RPM switch for NOS, shiftlight, high boost solenoid, etc

maybe someone could have something else in mind

hmmm.... I would say that depending on price, it may not be a bad option. but realistically speaking, it's pretty much not any better than an safc unless you do have adjustable cams, as dawgz said.

I think the fact that it has an rpm switch point for external accessories is pretty neat, but what would you use it for? on our applications, maybe a shift light, since once running higher power, we go through our 1st and 2nd gears in short short order, but beyond that...not much else.

High boost solenoid, sure, but depends on your plans. Same with n2o. If you think that you'll actually use it, then by all means.

But unless you actually have adjustable cams, it seems like an rpm window switch with an rpm pill will do just the same thing that you may want. And shift lights can come pretty cheap as separate units with a nice big light to tell you when to shift.

The other thing to also think about is how many ppl know how to use it to tune with as well. Like you said, 2 buttons can make it harder and more time consuming to use, and less tuners may be inclined to use it.

The price seems to be about the same as a neo though, so it's not that big of a difference. Just, it seems like you can't buy a used one since nobody really uses it.

well after searching i can only come up with places to buy, but i can't find a review on it.........oh well, guess i'll go with my original plans with the neo. I just hope that'll be enough for a t3/t04e 8)
