looks like on the website, there are 3 different kits. The MD01, MD09, and the SLIM kit.

Any opinions on which one to get?

gnaw_divad wrote:hey Solaraman, sounds like you got the kit in and everything works great. Just wanted to see if you had any updates on the quality. I was just reading in some other posts about them dimming and/or flickering but I wanted to see what you though firsthand.

Also, sounds like the seller you purchased it from on eBay did well. What was his seller name? If I do decide to purchase them I will get it from him.

Thx..

Well to respond to this first, they are working GREAT. better than i thought with everyone saying that the light pattern is going to suck. as far as flickering goes, when you turn the bulbs on it takes about 15 seconds for them to warm up, it flickers a couple times, nothing worth noting. DEF a great purchase. Make sure the seller is VVME and bid with confidence.

i heard these things heat up... so you might want to make sure the ballast doesnt melt your tank

The ballast itself isnt hooked up to the anti-freeze tank, its just the clip which shares the same bolt as the anti-freeze tank, let me know if u want a pic of the set up...

A buddy of mine said that you can just zip tie the ballasts to a secure location. true?

Which seller did you buy them from on Ebay? And did you get the Bi-Xenon? Because I can only find H4 Bi--Xenon for 99 bucks.

comes out to ( 78.99 + 26.0 ) x(1+ 0.0 )= $ 104.99 on VVME.com

I'm just curious of how he got them for 70 bucks instead of $100+

You can get 'em from eBay for 63 bucks
It usually takes up to 2-3 weeks to receive 'em.

Yeah if you purchase the Bi-Xenon it would cost you 100 bucks even if you purchase 'em from ebay.
When I ordered my set it took 'em around 2 weeks to get to me since they used USPS.
