TRD Torque biasing differential

Interesting. I tried searching on this but there seems to be nothing on it. Anyone have one of these?

it came as a rare option from dealers. EricSol got it when he ordered his car a while ago. From what I've read and been told by others, its identical to the MR-2 turbo LSD. For the money though, i'd just go aftermarket w/proven clutchpacks etc

Completely different product.
The torque biasing feature works on the principle that worm gears are only efficient in 1 direction, and if they turn backwards they consume huge amounts of power. Try googling "Tor-Sen" and Quaife.

Yes, the installation will be very painful, but AFAIK this is the best design (not necessarily the best product - I have no idea who makes it).

panic, what would you care if I am a teenager or a grown man using slang. Your posting on our forums has consisted of mostly trying to talk over the heads of other members, then deleting some of said posts when your sorry ass had become aggravated due to holes being poked in your "logic".
