Revival of the EricSol Brake Upgrade
First of all, thanks to Sp33d for making this happen. I've always been jealous of those who had the kit. I'm thankful for this resurrection and it couldn't have happened unless Sp33d made the move. Thanks again, Mark! (<-- aka Sp33d).
Here is before:
And now here is after:
And here is the comparison of the two rotors:
Reflections:
Had a bit of issues from initial install. I had thought that this was just plug and play but it turns out that there was a very minor rubbing issue with the brake pad brackets against the new rotor as well as a fitment issue. After correcting the two issues rubbing noise went away and my stopping power is definitely noticeable (almost dramatic, but I don't wanna sound....dramatic).
I only changed the rotors and pads so i'm still using stock brakelines therefore the slight feel of shaking was reduced a bit but neverthless still remained. I will change out the brakelines in due time to see what the improvements are. But again, stopping power for me has been noticeably better and stronger.
I will post more pictures and explanations of what i had to do to correct the issues.
Good luck to all of those who plan on doing this mod.
