Hey been browsing this forum for a long time, finally decided to register.

Beautiful Black 2004 Solara.......... Still love it.

First thing i will to get your insights?

Iam thinking adding a little more HP to my Solara?
So is an intake and TRD muffler all my options.

Finally decided to make this baby roar then it being a gentle cruiser,

Do you have the V6 or the I4 Solara? Don't go with the TRD muffler, it does nothing besides adding noise. If you have the V6, you can go with a CP-E intake (http://www.cp-e.com/2018.html).

Welcome aboard! :D

Then the 3.5" intake of cp-e is a good "sound" start. Makes for a wicked grunt and howl when accelerating. Not the cheapest mod but you get some power with the deal.

TRD muffler will give you decent sound all the time but won't add any power.

Underrated

Postby Nitin » Thu Oct 02, 2008 7:39 pm

One thing is that Solara's are so underrated, I mean just because of the design they think the car is a piece of s****

I mean there is a throttle lag but the high rpm makes up for it.

By the end of december im thinking of doing these mods to my car since i finally started running her like the way she can
