How did you get the bottom bolt off? I can't even get my hands to fit into that tight space. I want to unhook the hoses but I'm afraid that fluid might come gushing out.

I used a wrench after using PB Blaster on it. That bottom bolt is the hardest part of the entire thing. The Gen 3 I think has a slight bit more room though. It may be easier for you to take the bottom bracket off completely (the 2 bolts to the subframe). If you have an impact gun and a really long extension, it should be pretty easy that way.

I'm afraid to take the bracket off because I don't think I can tighten it back up all the way when I re-install it. I'll take a picture of it right now and put it up in a few minutes.

I PB'ed the bolts, then loosen top bolt, then took the bottom bolt completely off. Oh yea, to get clearance for the bottom bolt, I took off the engine shield at the bottom of the car just to make it easier.

BTW, buy some poly bushing for the bottom. Check out Midas post in this thread. http://www.solaraguy.com/viewtopic.php?t=41766&start=30

compared to a spring/strut install, this is a cakewalk. less than 45 minutes for install.

and for those who are worried about space constraints, when i installed mine (and took it back off to fix my broken L-mount), i would uninstall the radiator fan on that side. the fan is just two or three bolts, and an electrical plug, but it provides a lot of space to work with (just be sure not to damage your exposed radiator).

I'd like one, 99 LE V6 Camry, manual trans. Do the black and red bushings have the same stiffness? I f different I'd want the stiffer one. I can paypal. Haven't read through much here. Let me know.

The bushings are both exactly the same other than just the color.
