ScanGauge2 + XGauge

Hey guys I just ordered a ScanGauge2 after seeing the new XGauge add-ons. I bought it not only to use in my solara, but my new truck as well. The guys on my truck forum say the HP readings are pretty acurate as well. As of right now they have a bit more gauges out for GM than they do toyota. Like TQ, KR, Oil Life, Trans temp. ScanGauge says they are working on releasing more gauges for Toyota. I bought it mostly for the "live MPG" reading. If anyone has it let me know how you like it.

Scangauge is awesome, a lot of the functions are not available for the solara...toyota...or normal cars. Most of the newer functions (tranny temp, oil, etc) are for the hybirds, it does the air temp, coolant temp, mpg, rpm, etc very well though.

yes, i have had one in the solara for a couple years now. works great! It has some really nice trip/fuel consumption features as well as the ability to read cel's and give real time performance info.

I put the HP calc on my Scangauge just now, and it seems to work correctly. It's kinda cool just to have for kicks. Don't expect any astronomical numbers tho. I'm N/A :( I mounted my gauge on the steering column right in front of my gauge cluster. Where did you guys mount your Scangauge?

Hey mine just got mine in today. I was averaging about 33MPG flat highway, 60MPH in 5th gear. I was pretty happy about that considering I have almost 160k miles on my solara. The HP gauge works pretty well too. Didn't get a chance to try to max it out yet though. I will post that when I get the chance. I mounted mine right where you did CaliLara.
