double sh** happen

Friday I went beakc home after work at 4PM. I played at frets on fire (guitar hero clone for pc) with my gf until 5PM. At 5PM my cat start to cry like a baby..very big pain noise. He was trying to breath very heard,like a dog who run. He was not able to breath and his back "feet" was not moving.. WTF? my cat is 5 yrs and in good shape. I called the vetenary and paid $120 for urgency. They said he was doing an embolism. She said that he will probably dry and we need to stop his pain. I was really sad..this cat was very close to me..it's stupid but I liked him a lot.

This morning... double crap!
At 8AM I heard a big "boom" outside.. guess what? somebody did a hit and run!!!! WTF??? it's a 17yrs girl who was crying . she was in middle of the street in her car crying..an old woman come to talk her to know what happen..and she decided to go in reverse and she just hit my car..the old woman fall on the street because she hit her mirror....

SO now my car is in bad shape...Im not full cover by insurance because it was way too expensive... somebody will come see my car monday..

The cop found the girl so at least she will pay for this (I guess :-?

)

SO now I cant open my driver door, the corner light is destroy.. and the driver front wheel is not align with the passenger side...and the front side is in bad shape.. the front bumper is not all cracked..but maybe they will need to replace it..Also the car move because of the impact.. the passenger side is now touching the sidewalk..I was park at about 4" of the sidewalk..so the car move with the impact..at first the car look "good" but I think that the damage are maybe more mechanic?

So my week end is starting very bad.

I took few pics to show you guys,but I dont find my camera cable so the pics are in the internal memory..doh! but I have 2 pics on the SD card..I will take more this afternoon.(also to protect me with the car company if they try to pay less)

do you think they will destroy the car and pay me? or will repair?

my Solara is a VGA so I paid $4K last year (and put $1.5K to repair when I got the car). But I paid tax on $8.2K last year,they car is still listed in book.

check how the driver wheel is oriented compare tot he other side.. the car move completely to the sidewalk!

aaaggghhh stupid teenage drivers. Sux that it happened. Sorry about your cat too. It looks repairable, probably just something bent. Maybe you can find solara in a junk yard that's been rear ended and start yanking parts off.

I was thinking that "VGA" was an english abreviation,sorry.. It means "rebuilt". In 2001 the car did a flip on the top ...very damage..and rebuilt. The term is maybe "total loss" or "salvage" in USA

?.

I took better pics of my car. Also I found her car, hide behind a block. I took pics of her car, look at the passenger rear wheel of her car. Her wheel hit my front driver wheel..so I guess my car is more damage then it looks.

When I was taking pic, a guy in his appartement said me "Can I help you?"..so I said"I come and take pic of the car who destroy my **** car" so he shut it up and just watch me by the window. He was better to just let me do ..Im 6' 2 280 pounds so don't mess with me when Im ***. lol.

I hope she will be in real trouble for that hit and run. She will at least lose her driver licence 2 times. She is 17 so she has "4 credits"...and she lost "9 credits". It will not replace the damage and all the trouble, but it will help me to lough. SHe will probably not get criminal law procedure because she didn't hurt the old woman..

yes it seems that Solaraguy members are not lucky lol

I called my car company..i was close because of the week-end and the guy was not profesionnal at all..a real ass *** no help at all..

tomorrow Im gonna call and get somebody to work on my case. My step-mother is working at the bank, the same company of insurance..so she is gonna push hard to help me..because for now it seems that "somebody" will come look at the car "this week"..and it can take "some weeks" before they repair the car. And they need to get the police report that the girl is 100% guilty BEFORE they give me a temporary car and do something..a real pai in the as*..really! Im gonna change of bank if they are like that.. I was about buying a new car and I buy a house in max 2 years..so I will not do business with that kind of people if they can handle a simple case like that with a car of 4k$ value..really disapointed.

I will give you updates..

Today Ive made lot of rpessure to get service from my insurance. FInaly I got a car. I paid police to get the accident report so tomorrow I will fax it...so then I waill maybe save 3 weeks.. somebody will come look my car "soon"..now I feel more relaxe because I have a car.

It's exactly the same car, same color..is it green is it gray..it's weird. lol. automatic, 4i, triptronic. My V6 lara is rocket compare to this car..but it's almost brand new and cost nothing.

Lot of news..

I pushed hard my insurance car company..I went to the PD and ask for the accident report,paid $13 for the paper. I fax it to the company. Now it's moving! They confirmed that Im not guilty and that the location car will be free (max $1500..so about 30 days)... and the car inspector is coming at lunch to see if they will repair the car or give me money. They will give me $13 back for the police report lol.

So I feel better now that they do something..it's sad to see my car in front of my house like that.. It's cool to drive a brand new car but I still prefer my "old" Lara.

Now I need to find a good place to repair it (if they repair!).
