while driving today the air bag light came on, then went out about 5 seconds later. its a 99 se v6 manual. has anyone had this happen, or know why it may have happened? thanks.

Yes, I have a 99. Check the plug under the pass. and driver seat, for the seat sensors. That will trip the light. If thats all good, run your hand with the yellow wire for srs system and see what you find. Just unplug your battery first. Always...ALWAYS unplug your battery when doing anything with the srs system.

One day i drove in heavy rain and it came on. And about a day or 2 it went away. If it dont work unplug the batt and plug it back on.
