i have a green 2000 4 cyl with tinted windows a system and it sits on 18s
the other day i took the pin stripe off, took off all of the emblems and painted the front grill a flat black
the grill turned out sick and it looks alot better with ou the pinstripes
however when i took the emplems off and ussed that erraser drill bit to get all the glue off, it looks as if the emblems left scratch marks in the paint
so i guess they had been taken off before and put on
has anyone else had this problem and if so is there aything i can do besides a new paint job
sory no pics yet

What meathod did you use to get the emblems off. Like fishing line or what?

Remember that that glue was holding on for 8-9 years. If i understand your post correctly you got small specs where the paint is gone what happens is that when you take of the emblems the glue has bonded so well for so long that you end up ripping small specs of paint with it. What i would do would be to clay it and then get some scratch x or the like and then do a good wax job.

yea the scratch looks like an outline of the emblems
so what is this clay stuff and how does it work
but my car does look alot cleaner now on my grill the crome paint was all peeling it looked bad and i just think the gold looked tacky
so no more green for the money and gold for the honeys
