I got a few e-mails and i think i will take a different approach for this product.

Let me get you the dyno results tomorrow and then we will start taking orders.

I will release the dyno results and picture of the intake on the car and then start taking orders. I want to make sure everyone feels comfortable ordering this intake.

Thanx. Eyal

General Note to Everyone ( correct me if im wrong )

If you are looking for Eyal to have a huge selling point by a Horse Power increase then your wrong, that should not be his selling point. For anyone who has done a dyno before you know that you have your hood open and a fan usally blowing an the car to give it the effect. Now under these conditions, you should really see no difference in power between a short ram or a CAI or in my case a ram extension.

But by having personal experience in driving a solara with a CAI intake on it you will notice a difference in everyday driving, after you start driving for about 5 minutes, under you hood becomes a virtual oven because you have heat radiating off every part of your motor, and by having a short ram or even your airbox there is going to be unwanted heat added to your air intake temp (sucking in hot air). But you eliminate this completly by sucking in air from a different location such as our front fender, away from the block. Such as the pics.

thus lowering the air intake temp. under all driving conditions, equalling better fuel economy, and better performance.

But, just becareful with those puddles, you cant just move your filter location, due to it being one piece. AEM bypass valves are universal though.

Danny,

Looking at your pictures our intake is nothing like yours.

Please let us do our testing on OUR OWN product and we will let everyone know what we find.

I really would appreciate it if you start a post about your own intake and not confuse people about our product.

I dont mean this in a mean way so please dont take it this way but i had a few phone calls and e-mails from people that are getting a little confused between our two products and i dont want that to happen. I hope you understand.

Eyal

Does it fit Camrys?

Postby rapsux2001 » Mon Aug 18, 2003 5:00 pm

I was just wondering if you had tried putting the CAI on a V6 Camry yet?

We tested our intake on 2 cars today (well it didnt really get that far). We found out that our intake will not fit the latest generation Avalon and will not fit any 4 cylinder camry/Solara.

Right now we are looking for a V6 camry to test fit our intake on so if anyone is interested in helping us please e-mail me at sales@xerd.com

The person who will help us will still have to pay for the intake but the install will be free.

Thanx. Eyal

I'll let you try to fit the CAI on my 1999 V6 Camry. It just depends on how far I have to drive and when you can do this. Write back and let me know. My address is rapsux2000@hotmail.com. Thanks Eyal.
