Let's just do this, let's throw a few dates and some activities and see what we could come up with for a meet in the Columbus, Ohio area.

Last time went out to eat and then went karting, which was pretty fun, wished it was longer. Then we went to the bars.

Anyone down for some bowling? It's been years since I've gone, but doesn't break the bank and everyone will have a sore arm afterwards...lol...

I think the date will be the hardest part to try and get everyone to come...there's always the next meet.

I'll be in Columbus for Halloween weekend already so make it then and I'm there.

How about this, Halloween is on Friday the 31st, that means if my local town doesn't decide to do something weird like change it from Friday to Saturday, then let's have it on Saturday November 1st, and my bday is just a couple days off so, that would be okay with me.

No problem, it was just an idea. Plus, I'd thought it'd be funny to do both my and Ky's b-days at car meets. Pushing it back actually will give me time to recoup some $ after all of the things I'm having to buy now.

Also, I'm down to do whatever in Columbus. I wouldn't mind karting or bowling, but a few drinks later in the evening are a must!

Despite my better judgement, I'll throw this out there.

I'll be there gathering with a gaming clan (I'm not a gamer! Despite hosting a game server and forum for a clan... I'm not a gamer!) and there's a good chance we'll be in a Hotel conference room with a couple kegs of homebrew.

Now I'll roll to any event you all come up with Saturday night, but if the Hotel location is right, maybe that would be a good initial gathering spot?

It would be odd to mix my internet worlds, but it's two sets of good folks on both sides so no worries. (both ecclectic bunches on their own) Might even have a floor for some poor SGs to crash on that night.

But the details on that event are not fixed yet, so carry on with the planning and we'll see if the locations pan out.

I would say I'm a gamer, but I own a wii and PS3, and few other old sys...I just never got into the pc gaming thing for some reason...

Let us know about where you'll be staying and we'll see what location we can come up with. Perhaps Chris can suggest something since he's in the area.

(Off topic) What games and what platforms?

If we're talking consoles, I could bring an Xbox 360 & maybe a projector. (Not mine from the theater.) I'd have to say I'm a hardcore FPS gamer so it sounds interesting.
