Just ordered me a set after getting a small bonus on my paycheck. I will post installment pictures of these if you guys want. Excited. Hate my current brakes.

Definitely post the pics. What rotors are you going with?

Probably should have asked this earlier and maybe I'm missing something, but how do bigger rotors give better braking without bigger calipers/pads? Still the same amount of surface contact...

Also has to do with Leverage...its grabbing the outer area rather than inner...

There is more torque closer to the center of the rotor and less on the outside. Thus I would assume there is a mechanical advantage to grabbing on the rotor farther away from the hub center, where less torque is present to be acted against.

The idea is, think about a bicycle wheel. Would you rather stop the wheel spinning with your hands on the outer diameter near the tire or the inner diameter near the hub(center)?

Got my brackets! Still waiting on the rotors. Mark did a good job with the packaging and I love the disclaimer he included in it as well.

Thanks again Mark!

Can someone copy the brackets for me top, side, and bottom for me??
I've drawn it up on AutoDesk Inventor and eyeball'ed it from the pictures.

ok just a heads up: the brackets work perfectly for the 97 plus camry/solara/avalon etc.

however for the 96 below there are rubbing issues..

first off the bracket area near the bolt holes for actual mounting bracket need to be grinded down (screw i ddint have my angle grinder... dremels suck in this case.

also the rotor rubs the area around the pad so you will need to grind that area as well..

but just a heads up for those who have not recieved theirs yet: this kit is fawkin clean!!! its waaay awesome quality!!!
need wheels? www.memoryfab.com - ask for david
