Pulling to left, while braking
My car was in accident in the USA, it was hit to the right front side, it ran only 800 miles then. Mechanics changed the right coil spring and some other parts from the right side. Then it came to the Ukraine to my friend and here other mechanics changed only the left coil spring as they thought it would be ok (stupid guys, never heard of changing ONE coil spring). And then I bought this car from a friend and started to love, as it's very good.
The problem is that while I'm braking the car is pulling to the left. And it starts to pull harder when the braking is almost over, at the low speed. Normally, if I don't brake, the car is deadly straight (if the road is good), it doesn't pull or drift anywhere.
Alignment is good, brakes seems to be ok too (but the right brake pad dies faster than the left one).
I think, maybe I have a little bit different front coil springs (maybe even with one factory number, but different manufacturer time) and when I brake the weight of the car goes to the front and if the left spring is softer it pulls me to the left.
The idea is to swap springs to see, if it will pull me to the right and change them if it will.
The next question, can I use the coil springs from the Euro Camry 2.4 '05 as they are available here. Or maybe I should try them from EuroCamry 3.0? What do you think?
