Gen 1 Clear fog light lenses

Gen 1 Clear fog light lenses

Postby Dawgz » Mon Aug 18, 2008 9:10 pm

So i think ill make a few, for whoever wants them?

85 shipped to North America, with tracking.

I will ship the left and right lenses, all you have to do is take ur old lenses off and use black silicone or clear to put these on. These are great for people who want to do the Lexus GS capsules or the Is300 projectors (like i did)

Here's a pic of oem compared to the clear lenses with is300 project retros

Ill make 2 sets tomorrow and then after that ill make them on an order basis.[/quote]

that lip area is where the silicone will fill in, and then attach to the clear lense.

very simple.

This is all you will have to do.

The lense will fit on like the picture below, the green area is where you will fill in the silicone...

Image

After you have applied the lense onto the silicone and housing, let it dry overnight.

then after thats all said and done, u will need to mask off the visible area of the fog light with painters tape or just regular skotch tape..like this (the blue area represents the painters tape / skotch tape).

Image

now that u have the visible area masked off, u will see the outer lense and the silicone thru it, u can now do 2-3 coats of spray paint over the green area to match ur car's color.

These are the EXACT steps i did.
