Lowering/lip kit problems

Hey all... I know this is kinda one of the same posts in the gen 2 section but I am not sure how close the suspension is ect. Everyone tells me I need to lower my car and I am definetely planning to. I however also have a molly kit sitting at my house needing to be preped and painted. How much should I lower my car and what problems am I going to face when I add the lip kit. Will I bottom out a lot, what do I need to look at to caution myself. What spring/shock set up would give me the lowest drop but still give me the looks...?

how much you lower it is really up to you. my old suspension setup, tokico/eibach was fine with the kit on it, only thing I didn't like about that setup was that the front was higher than the rear, it wasn't even. You could get some coilovers, allowing you to adjust the height to whatever you want, which is what I have.

In either case, you'll have to drive a little bit differently. In my area, there's a big dip between the road and a parking area, so it forces me to approach it really slowly and at about a 45 degree angle to prevent from scrapping. You'll have to do this with speed bumps too depending on how high they are. You'll also have to stop short of curbs and parking blocks to prevent the front end from ripping off. Not trying to scare you, just something to think about and I've never had a problem...just user error at times.
